Autovac. Actinobacillus Mycoplasma spp.

Use Prevention of pneumonias and polyserositis produced by the association of Actinobacillus pleuropneumoniae and Mycoplasma hyopneumoniea in pigs.

Samples required for preparation Lung. Optionally send the isolated strains.

Composition Exopolysaccharides of Actinobacillus pleuropneumoniae and Mycoplasma hyopneumoniae lyophilized with liposomes. Adjuvant: Aluminum hydroxide.

Recommended protocol Two doses in piglets with an interval of 21-30 days. First dose after 15 days of life. Consult the laboratory to adjust the protocol according to the appearance of symptoms. Via the intramuscular route.

Observations Since these autovaccines include Mycoplasma it is advisable to reduce the vaccination age of the piglets and eliminate vaccination of the sows.

Presentation Boxes of 50 doses with two bottles: lyophilized component and adjuvant.

Resuspension of the lyophilized autovaccine

  • Before application, allow the preparation to reach room temperature. Dilute the lyophilized tablet with 2 ml of aluminum hydroxide, stir well and mix with the rest of adjuvant. Administer immediately after resuspension.
  • The autovaccine is marketed ready for use. Before administration, allow the product to reach room temperature.

Delivery dates Ten days after the ordering date (previously isolated strain).

Recommended protocol Vaccinate and revaccinate all the animals at any productive moment with an interval of 30 days. Via the subcutaneous route.

Observations Handling and hygiene, as well as primary infections must be improved before deciding to use the autovaccine

Composition Exopolysaccharides of Brachyspira hyodisenteriae and/or Brachyspira pilosicoli lyophilized with liposomes and inactivated bacterial bodies. Adjuvant: Aluminum hydroxide.

Recommended protocol Vaccinate and revaccinate sows 50 and 20 days before birthing. Apply a memory dose in each gestation. Vaccinate and revaccinate replacement females in the same way. Vaccinate and revaccinate the piglets at the time of weaning and 21-30 days after. Via the intramuscular route.

Recommended protocol Vaccinate and revaccinate sows 50 and 20 days before birthing. Apply a memory dose in each gestation. Vaccinate and revaccinate replacement females in the same way. In transition colibacillary problems, vaccinate and revaccinate the piglets after 15 and 30 days of life with half a dose (1 ml). Via the intramuscular route.

Observations In order to maintain the efficacy of these autovaccines, new strains should be isolated when diarrheas sporadically appear in some litters.

Observations According to our studies, the combined vaccination of sows and piglets is not advisable, due to interference with maternal immunity. Optimum protection of the piglets is obtained with the previously mentioned protocol.
